Where this service fits
Geocells confine specified infill in a three-dimensional cellular structure. Applications may include slope protection, channels, access routes and working surfaces where the selected system meets the engineered design.
A geocell layer is not a waterproof barrier. Hydraulic works may need a separate lining and drainage arrangement.
What the installation scope can include
Scope can cover material supply, delivery, surface acceptance, deployment, panel connections, specified anchorage, infill placement and compaction. Define excavation, formation preparation, drainage, concrete or soil supply and plant responsibilities.
Installation details depend on whether the fill is granular, vegetated soil, concrete or another approved material.
Select the system and prepare the works
Provide cell depth, material and connection requirements, slope or traffic loading, ground conditions and infill specification. The designer sets anchorage, edge restraint and any separation or drainage layers.
Do not transfer expansion dimensions, fixing spacings or fill thicknesses from a different cell product.
Quality records and handover
Verify product identification, formation, cell expansion and dimensions, panel connections, anchorage and the accepted infill. Record fill placement, compaction or concrete controls as specified.
Inspect concealed interfaces before filling. Retain layout, quantities, inspection records and approved repairs for handover.

Can you install concrete-filled geocells?
Include the required infill and placement method in the enquiry. The approved design and quotation define the concrete and installation responsibilities.
Can one geocell replace another by depth alone?
No. Review material, cell geometry, connections, durability, infill and installation requirements as a complete system.
Choose the scope you need
Supply only; manufacture or fabrication; supply and delivery; or supply with a defined installation and QA/QC scope. The quotation identifies materials, responsibilities, testing and the required handover records.
