Where this service fits
Floating covers can support specified evaporation-control or water-protection functions. Suitability depends on the cover material, liquid chemistry, weather exposure, reservoir geometry and operating water levels.
A cover for water storage is not automatically suitable for gas containment, potable water or every industrial liquid. Confirm the specific required function.
What the installation scope can include
Scope can include material supply, fabrication, transport, deployment, jointing, perimeter and penetration details, and integration of designed drainage or venting features. Identify who designs and provides anchors, structural supports and operating equipment.
The quotation states mobilisation, access, lifting and commissioning responsibilities.
Design the operating interfaces
Provide minimum and maximum water levels, rate of level change, wind exposure, reservoir slopes and obstructions. Coordinate perimeter restraint, movement allowance, surface-water management and any required gas management.
The complete cover system must be reviewed for operating loads and access. Material thickness alone does not establish system suitability.
Quality records and handover
Record material and fabricated-panel identity, deployment inspections, joints, attachments, penetrations, repairs and as-built information. The inspection plan defines appropriate tests for the selected material and details.
Agree commissioning, inspection access and operating guidance so the completed cover can be managed through changing water levels and weather.

No. Gas collection requires a system designed for that purpose and the operating environment.
