Dam Sealing Fabric
Our dam sealing fabric forms part of a complete fabric-and-binder waterproofing system. We supply the fabric and install the specified system over the prepared surface, including its reinforced details and curing requirements.
Product description and supply
Dam sealing fabric is the fabric component of a specified fabric-and-sealing-medium barrier. The fabric, compatible binder or coating, joints and substrate work together; the untreated carrier fabric is not itself the completed waterproof lining.
Geosynthetics South Africa supplies the material against an identified grade and project scope. Fabric construction, compatibility, dimensions and the approved installation arrangement are confirmed with the technical submission and quotation.
Choose the lining route for the project
Fabric-based sealing, welded geomembranes and geosynthetic clay liners have different design and installation requirements. Consider the subgrade, water depth, settlement, exposure, water chemistry, access and operating conditions before selecting a route.
Grade-specific confirmation
Request the exact supplied fabric designation, fibre, mass, roll size, strength and binder compatibility with the quotation. The dam sealing fabric is a separate product from TechPave C040 paving fabric; their properties and intended uses must not be interchanged.

Agree subgrade preparation, anchorage, penetrations, joints, approved application method and protection. Define inspection hold points and an appropriate commissioning or watertightness check. Retain material records, batch references and an as-built detail schedule.

No. Specify the complete approved fabric-and-sealing-medium system.
Choose the scope you need
Supply only; manufacture or fabrication; supply and delivery; or supply with a defined installation and QA/QC scope. The quotation identifies materials, responsibilities, testing and the required handover records.
Design and procurement inputs
Specify the complete binder and fabric system, substrate preparation, reinforcement details, curing and exposure conditions. Fabric alone does not provide the completed waterproof barrier.
Provide the product grade or performance specification, drawings or BOQ, quantities, site location and required date. We will define supply, delivery and any agreed installation and QA/QC responsibilities in the quotation.
