Tensar InterAx Geogrids
Tensar InterAx is an aggregate-stabilisation geogrid for roads, working platforms and infrastructure. We supply the required grade and install it with the specified aggregate layers as part of the pavement or platform construction.

Proven Technology. Proven Savings. Proven Success.
With over 50 years of geogrid leadership and more than 10,000 hours of R&D, Tensar InterAx® is globally recognised as the highest-performing stabilisation geogrid. Independent testing - including studies by the US Army Corps of Engineers - has shown up to 64% reduction in surface rutting compared to unstabilised sections
For Africa’s engineers and contractors, this means:
-
Faster project delivery with fewer weather delays
-
Lower total cost of ownership through reduced maintenance
-
Greener solutions for infrastructure development
Take the Next Step
Whether you’re designing a new haul road, stabilising a working platform, or extending pavement life under heavy traffic, Tensar InterAx® Geogrids from Geosynthetics South Africa deliver the proven savings and reliability you need.

Installation and technical guidance
Design and procurement inputs
Select the product for the actual function: aggregate stabilisation, soil reinforcement or combined separation and reinforcement. Confirm aggregate compatibility, subgrade conditions, loading and the approved layer build-up.
Provide the product grade or performance specification, drawings or BOQ, quantities, site location and required date. We will define supply, delivery and any agreed installation and QA/QC responsibilities in the quotation.
Request a product-specific quotation →Installation and QA/QC
Record roll identity, reinforcement direction and location, joints, connections, fill placement and the specified compaction controls.
Use the current supplied-product procedure and the approved project inspection plan. Define responsibilities and acceptance criteria before installation.
SELECTION · SPECIFICATION · PROJECT SUPPLY
Choose the right specification
Separate aggregate stabilisation from designed tensile soil reinforcement before choosing a grid or composite.
- For stabilisation, define subgrade, aggregate, traffic or working load and permitted deformation.
- For walls, slopes and basal reinforcement, obtain the required long-term design strength, geometry and interfaces.
- Confirm grade, orientation, joint or connection details and any separation or filtration layer.
Define the quality records
Record roll identity, reinforcement direction and location, joints, connections, fill placement and the specified compaction controls.
For a useful quotation: send the grade or performance specification, quantity, location, required date and scope. Availability, delivery and installation responsibilities are confirmed in the quotation.
