Describe the containment structure
Provide dimensions, drawings, slopes, corners, penetrations and termination details. Explain whether the liner is for a new structure, refurbishment or replacement. These details help define material quantities and fabrication requirements.
Confirm material acceptance
State the specified membrane type, thickness, reinforcement and required manufacturer documentation. Include relevant liquid chemistry, operating conditions and contact requirements for review against the proposed product.
Separate the project responsibilities
Define who is responsible for design, substrate preparation, access, protection layers and acceptance testing. Request the material, fabrication, installation and quality records required by the contract.
EPDM Liners (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)
Durable and highly flexible, EPDM liners are ideal for ponds, tanks, and reservoirs with irregular shapes. They provide outstanding UV resistance, weathering performance, and long service life. Mainly used in Ponds, decorative water features, irrigation reservoirs, aquaculture tanks, and secondary containment
EVA Liners (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate)
EVA liners combine flexibility with excellent chemical resistance, making them suitable for demanding conditions in mining and industry. They perform well under stress and retain flexibility across temperature variations. Mainly used in mining process ponds, heap leach pads, industrial wastewater treatment, and chemical containment basins.
FPP Liners (Flexible Polypropylene)
Lightweight and UV resistant, FPP liners are widely used for potable water storage and irrigation applications. Certified for water safety, they are a trusted option in both municipal and agricultural sectors. Mainly used in potable water reservoirs, irrigation dams, canals, municipal water storage, and aquaculture ponds.
PVC Liners (Polyvinyl Chloride)
PVC liners are cost-effective, versatile, and easy to install, making them suitable for a wide range of small to medium containment needs. Their flexibility allows quick deployment on site. Mainly used in agricultural ponds, aquaculture farms, stormwater retention basins, canals, and decorative landscaping ponds.
PE Liners (Polyethylene - LLDPE, LDPE, MDPE)
PE liners offer flexibility, puncture resistance, and easy handling, making them a practical alternative to HDPE for smaller-scale projects. Available in various grades for different site conditions. Mainly used in small reservoirs, farm ponds, canal lining, stormwater attenuation ponds, and secondary containment.

Specify roll and batch traceability, material acceptance, joint inspections and appropriate tests for the selected liner system.
Use the current supplied-product procedure and the approved project inspection plan. Define responsibilities and acceptance criteria before installation.
Design and procurement inputs
Confirm polymer, thickness, chemical compatibility, temperature, UV exposure and service conditions. Slope interfaces, protection layers, anchor details and seam testing are project-specific. Potable-water use requires approval for the supplied grade.
