A filter retains the required soil particles while allowing water passage. Drainage components convey water to a defined collection point or outlet. The system must provide both functions where required.
Select a geotextile using the soil characteristics, retention criteria, hydraulic requirements and potential clogging conditions. Select drainage cores and pipes against flow, loading, installation and long-term performance requirements.

Send the drawings, soil information, flow and loading requirements, quantities and delivery location. Identify whether the scope includes filter fabric, drainage pipe, core or composite, fittings and installation.
For sludge dewatering, also provide slurry characteristics, conditioning information and filtrate-management requirements. Dewatering-container performance needs a separate application assessment.
