Our PolyTape silt fence helps retain sediment in construction runoff before it leaves the disturbed area. We manufacture and supply the fabric and install the fence with the required supports, trenching and returns.
High-Flow Filtration Without Clogging
PolyTape™ fabrics are designed with a controlled apparent opening size (<180 microns) to retain fine silt and clay particles while maintaining high water flow rates. This prevents ponding, overtopping, and fence collapse commonly seen with coarse or poorly balanced fabrics.
Strength-Rated, Not One-Size-Fits-All
Most silt fences in South Africa are limited to a single low-strength grade. PolyTape™ is available in 30 kN, 45 kN, 60 kN, and 105 kN tensile classes, enabling correct selection for:

Design and procurement inputs
Limit contributing catchment and flow, key the fabric into the soil, provide suitable support and maintain sediment-storage capacity. Silt fence is not intended to block a watercourse or withstand concentrated flow.
