Project Background
The FG Gold Project, currently under development in Sierra Leone, is a gold mining project being managed by Lycopodium Minerals as EPCM contractor. As part of its Phase 1 infrastructure, a network of process water ponds was designed requiring robust containment and drainage solutions to meet international environmental and operational standards.

Scope of Supply

GSE HDPE Geomembrane Liner – 1.5mm:
Supplied and deployed as the primary containment layer for all process water ponds. The high-quality GSE liner ensures chemical resistance, UV stability, and long-term durability, critical for aggressive mining liquids and harsh African environments. -
HDPE Liner Termination Profile Anchor System:
Delivered for use at all liner-to-concrete interfaces, the HDPE-profile anchors were embedded into concrete walls to create a watertight mechanical bond between the liner and fixed structures. -
Solid HDPE Drainage Pipes with Custom Flanges:
Designed for high-pressure process flows, these pipes were manufactured to precise dimensions and delivered with custom-fabricated flanges, allowing easy integration with valve chambers and lined pond structures. -
Mirafi Bidim Non-Woven Geotextile :
Used as a protective cushion layer beneath the HDPE liner to reduce puncture risks and enhance liner performance over irregular subgrade. Our geotextile provides excellent elongation and durability under mechanical stress.
