BERA stabilisation systems utilise engineered cellular and grid structures that provide controlled load distribution while maintaining full permeability.

Unlike conventional loose gravel or basic grid systems, BERA solutions combine structural confinement with integrated geotextiles and optimised cell geometry, resulting in improved surface stability, reduced rutting, and long-term performance.

The selection of infill depends on the application and load requirements.

For gravel systems, a well-graded aggregate typically between 3–16 mm is recommended to ensure optimal compaction and stability. Smaller aggregates may be used within the cells to improve interlock and load transfer, while larger material can be applied as a surface layer.
