This 4 mm HDPE welding rod supplies filler material for extrusion welding HDPE geomembranes and compatible concrete-protection liners. It is used for liner details, repairs and extrusion-welded joints. Supplied as a 500 m / 10 kg reel for use with compatible HDPE materials and welding equipment.

Description
Our HDPE (high-density polyethylene) plastic welding rods supply filler material for joining or repairing HDPE parts in plastic welding applications. A plastic welder or heat gun supplies heat to the welding joint on a plastic workpiece, and the heat melts and fuses material from the plastic rod and the workpiece to create a strong weld at the joint.
Our Standard HDPE welding rods create moisture-resistant welds that are commonly used for welding our HDPE Geoliner Membranes and our CPL Concrete Protection Liners.
The colour of the welding rod can also be matched with your installed product. Our HDPE Platic Welding rods are supplied in 5kg or 10kg reels and produced in 3mm, 4mm or 5mm diameter.

How we install
We install GSE HDPE extrusion-welding rods. Match the rod resin and diameter to the specified HDPE liner and extrusion welder. Prepare the weld area, confirm the equipment settings through trial welds and complete the detail or repair. Inspect and test the finished extrusion weld to the project procedure.
