Slotted & Perforated Corrugated HDPE Drainage Pipes for Critical Infrastructure

GeoPipe™ HDPE Slotted Subsoil Drainage Pipes Engineered for Africa’s Harshest Conditions

GeoPipe™ is Africa’s reference solution for subsoil water drainage, engineered from high-strength HDPE slotted pipe technology to deliver reliable hydraulic performance in demanding ground conditions.

Designed for civil engineering, roadworks, mining, agriculture, and landscaping, GeoPipe™ achieves high infiltration rates with minimal clogging, even in fines-rich or unstable soils where inferior drainage pipes fail.

From South Africa’s expansive clay soils to West Africa’s laterites and East Africa’s rocky terrain, GeoPipe™ provides efficient subsurface drainage that protects infrastructure, improves ground stability, and extends service life.

What is GeoPipe™?

GeoPipe™ is a high-performance slotted HDPE subsoil drainage system, engineered for controlled water collection and long-term durability in civil, road, and infrastructure applications.

Key engineered features include:

  • Corrugated outer wall engineered for high ring stiffness and crush resistance under backfill and traffic loads

  • Smooth inner bore to maximise hydraulic efficiency and maintain consistent flow capacity

  • Precision-formed slots designed for optimal water entry while minimising soil ingress and clogging

GeoPipe™ is specified for subsoil drainage applications demanding long service life, consistent infiltration performance, and practical on-site handling in challenging ground conditions.

Applications

  • Subsoil drainage for roads, highways & pavements
(edge drains, formation drainage, pavement life extension)

  • Retaining wall and MSE backdrain systems
(hydrostatic pressure relief behind reinforced soil structures)

  • Landfill subgrade and liner drainage layers
(collection of infiltrating groundwater and leakage control beneath liner systems — not primary leachate headers)

  • Landfill leachate drainage blankets (secondary drainage)
(used within drainage layers in combination with aggregates and geotextiles)

  • Mining tailings storage facilities (TSFs) – foundation & underdrain systems
(pore pressure relief, seepage control, and foundation drainage where slotted pipes are specified)

  • Mining platforms and industrial hardstands
    (groundwater interception below working surfaces)

  • Agricultural and farmland drainage systems
(field drainage and water table control)

  • Golf courses, sports fields & landscaped areas
(rapid subsurface drainage and surface performance protection)

  • Foundations, basements & substructure drainage
    (perimeter drains and groundwater interception)

Technical note

Note: Our Slotted HDPE drainage pipes are typically used for subsoil, liner underdrain, and secondary drainage applications. Primary leachate collection headers are generally specified as solid-wall or fully perforated pipes, depending on hydraulic and regulatory requirements.

Why GeoPipe™ Is Specified for African Conditions

  • Structural-Grade HDPE Construction
Engineered to resist crushing, deformation, and chemical attack under sustained burial loads and aggressive soils.

  • Engineered Slot Geometry
Precision-formed slotting delivers high infiltration rates while controlling soil ingress and reducing long-term clogging.

  • Smooth Hydraulic Flow Path
Low-friction inner bore maximises discharge capacity and maintains consistent flow over the pipe’s service life.

  • UV-Stabilised & Chemically Resistant
Suitable for exposed handling, harsh subsurface environments, and long-term underground installation without performance loss.

  • Rodent-Resistant, Weather-Tough Design
Withstands biological attack, temperature cycling, and site abuse where lightweight drainage pipes fail.

  • Supplied in Continuous Coils
Faster installation, fewer joints, reduced leakage risk, and lower installed cost on long drainage runs.

Optional Add-ons

  • Geotextile-Socked Versions – For silt-heavy environments

  • Joiners & Inspection Ports – For system integration

  • Gravel Filter Bedding Design Support – On request
