GeoCurtain Class 2 is a floating silt curtain for sediment control during river and canal works. A suspended skirt forms a barrier that helps limit the spread of disturbed sediment in the water. The curtain, skirt depth and anchoring are configured to the site’s currents, water depth and exposure.

Class 2 Silt Curtains for Moderate Hydrodynamic Conditions

GeoCurtain™ Class 2 systems are engineered for medium-risk environments with moderate wind, current and water movement.

These systems are designed to maintain stability under increased hydraulic loading compared to Class 1 systems

How we install

We install GeoCurtain silt curtains. Confirm water depth, currents and the approved mooring layout. Connect curtain sections, flotation and ballast, then deploy and anchor the barrier without leaving gaps. Inspect connections and anchors during the works and monitor turbidity where specified.
