Class 1 Silt Curtains for Low-Risk Water Conditions

GeoCurtain™ Class 1 Silt Curtains are designed for low-energy environments with minimal current, wind or wave action, providing effective turbidity control in controlled water bodies.

As per international classification, Class 1 systems are suited to short-term or controlled applications with minimal hydrodynamic loading

Skirt: 260gsm nonwoven geotextile
Float chamber: 400gsm UV stabilised PVC
Ballast: 6mm galvanised chain

How we install

We install GeoCurtain silt curtains. Confirm water depth, currents and the approved mooring layout. Connect curtain sections, flotation and ballast, then deploy and anchor the barrier without leaving gaps. Inspect connections and anchors during the works and monitor turbidity where specified.

Engineer specification
