GC100 woven groundcover
GC100 is a 100 g/m² woven polypropylene groundcover that reduces light reaching the soil to suppress weed growth while allowing water to pass through. It helps keep planted and maintained areas manageable without relying on routine herbicide application beneath the covered area.
Use it in nurseries, greenhouse walkways, orchards, vineyards, landscaped planting areas and other specified vegetation-control areas. The woven tape construction provides a practical ground-covering layer that can be cut around planting positions and secured to the prepared surface.
Weed suppression
A physical light barrier for the covered soil. Prepare the ground and maintain edges, openings and any cover layer to manage regrowth.
Water-permeable
Allows rainfall and irrigation water to pass through the fabric. Maintain site drainage and avoid sediment build-up that can obstruct flow.
Wide roll coverage
The listed 5.25 m × 100 m roll covers 525 m² before allowance for overlaps, cuts and detailing.
Choose the correct grade and colour
For exposed installations, confirm the supplied colour and its declared UV rating. Select fixing and overlap details for the wind, slope, soil and intended use. Groundcover is not a structural reinforcement product, and performance depends on correct installation and maintenance.

How we install
We install WeedBlock GC100 woven groundcover. Clear existing weeds and level the ground. Lay WeedBlock flat, overlap adjoining sheets and secure edges and joints with suitable ground pins. Cut planting openings neatly and inspect the finished surface and drainage.
