Jute SoilLock is a 292 g/m² woven natural-fibre erosion blanket for newly seeded slopes and exposed soil. Its open mesh helps hold surface soil and seed in place while vegetation establishes, then gradually biodegrades. Supplied in 1.22 m x 100 m rolls for landscaping, embankments and rehabilitation works.

Biodegradable Jute SoilLock  Soil Blanket for Effective Erosion Control

Our Geo Jute SoilLock also known as Jute fabric is an open-weave, pure Geo Jute mesh that provides essential protection for both seeds and soil on exposed surfaces susceptible to erosion from rain, runoff, and wind. This fabric adapts seamlessly to ground contours, effectively curbing surface erosion. It creates a microclimate that fosters plant growth and decomposes entirely once vegetation has taken hold.

Consistently proven as a top performer in independent trials, biodegradable geo jute mesh have been widely adopted across various projects. They are recognized as the most cost-effective solution, ensuring robust vegetation establishment within respective periods.

How we install

We install SoilLock erosion-control blankets. Grade the slope, remove stones and prepare topsoil and seed where specified. Anchor the blanket at the crest and roll it down the slope in full ground contact. Form the required shingled overlaps, pin the blanket and inspect edges, trenches and fixings.
