This biaxial TENSAR SS30 geogrid measures 4 metres wide and available in a roll length of 50 metres. When it comes to geogrids, the Tensar SS series is the original geogrid used for the reinforcement of soils and aggregates within the construction industry. Tensar is the market leader globally in geogrid reinforcement and has been used by contractors all over the world for many years, proving a popular choice for biaxial geogrids. This Tensar geogrid roll can be easily cut to your desired length and size, making installation quick and easy.
Tensar Geogrids are used to enhance strength in areas and structures of roads, pavements, working platforms, reinforced foundations and many more applications. They do this by performing two geosynthetic functions, stabilisation and reinforcement. When installed, geogrids increase the bearing capacity and can save costs by reducing the thickness of the aggregate layers needed.
The Tensar SS series features the original biaxial design, consisting of stiff monolithic geogrids with integral junctions. Orientated in two directions, resulting in the ribs having a higher degree of molecular orientation which continues through the area of the integral node. The ribs have a rectangular cross section with square edges. Manufactured from approx. 98% of quality polypropylene PP resins and approx. 2% of carbon black.

How we install
We install Tensar and MIRAGRID reinforcement geogrids. Prepare the formation and treat soft areas identified by the engineer. Lay geogrids in the designed reinforcement direction, connect or overlap them as specified and remove slack. Place suitable fill in controlled lifts and compact without direct plant trafficking on exposed grid.
