Description
The FlowTex™ CP 60 Geobag is a large, heavy - duty woven high - flow geotextile sandbag designed for high - energy coastal protection and erosion control in South Africa and across Africa. Fabricated from PolyTape60 woven polypropylene, it delivers 60 kN/m tensile strength with hydraulic permeability to relieve pore pressure while retaining soil. At roughly 1800kg when filled, CP 60 is ideal for groynes, breakwaters, seawalls, river training works, and scour protection around structures.
Compared with traditional nonwoven sandbags, CP 60’s woven construction offers markedly higher strength, UV stability, and resistance to abrasion and tearing-extending service life and reducing maintenance. Supplied flat for efficient transport and filled on site with local sand, the system minimizes logistics costs where quarry rock is limited or difficult to deliver.

How we install
We install FlowTex60 woven geotextile sandbags. Prepare the placement surface and filling area. Fill the specified bags with the approved sand to the designed fill level, close each bag and place it to the protection layout using suitable lifting equipment. Check alignment, joints and exposed fabric for damage.
