Description
The FlowTex™ CP 45 Geobag is a robust woven high - flow geotextile sandbag developed for medium - energy coastal zones, canals, and flood defense works. Made from PolyTape45 woven polypropylene with 45 kN/m tensile strength, it resists tearing and cyclic loading while allowing hydraulic relief through the fabric. With a filled mass of around 1000kg, CP 45 provides substantial stability for revetments, river training, scour aprons, and dune reinforcement.
Woven PolyTape construction delivers longer service life and lower maintenance than traditional nonwoven sandbags in marine conditions. Units are supplied flat and filled on site, enabling rapid construction and reduced haulage where rock is scarce or access is limited. Bags can be stacked in offset courses, keyed into slopes, and integrated with rock or concrete elements to form hybrid systems matched to site hydraulics.

How we install
We install FlowTex45 woven geotextile sandbags. Prepare the placement surface and filling area. Fill the specified bags with the approved sand to the designed fill level, close each bag and place it to the protection layout using suitable lifting equipment. Check alignment, joints and exposed fabric for damage.
