Description
The FlowTex™ CP 30 Geobag is a medium - size woven high - flow geotextile sandbag engineered for erosion control and coastal protection across South Africa and Africa. Constructed from PolyTape30 woven polypropylene, it provides 30 kN/m tensile strength with hydraulic permeability-water can pass through while soil is retained-reducing pore pressure and internal erosion. At roughly 400kg when filled, CP 30 offers meaningful mass yet remains practical to place with light equipment.
Typical uses include canal shoulders, riverbank stabilisation, revetment toes, culvert aprons, and secondary flood defenses. Compared with traditional nonwoven sandbags, the woven PolyTape fabric offers improved resistance to tearing, abrasion, and UV exposure for longer service life in marine and river environments. Supplied flat and filled with locally available sand, CP 30 simplifies logistics to remote sites and accelerates emergency works.

How we install
We install FlowTex30 woven geotextile sandbags. Prepare the placement surface and filling area. Fill the specified bags with the approved sand to the designed fill level, close each bag and place it to the protection layout using suitable lifting equipment. Check alignment, joints and exposed fabric for damage.
