Applications
Typical uses include prepared embankments, disturbed ground, landscape slopes and rehabilitation areas where temporary surface protection is needed during vegetation establishment.
Confirm the slope, soil, expected runoff and required period of protection. Channel applications need a hydraulic suitability check. Surface blankets do not stabilise a slope against a deeper geotechnical failure.

Design and procurement inputs
Choose fibre type, expected functional longevity, slope and hydraulic exposure, seed and soil requirements, anchoring and overlaps. Erosion blankets are not a substitute for a slope-stability design.
Provide the product grade or performance specification, drawings or BOQ, quantities, site location and required date. We will define supply, delivery and any agreed installation and QA/QC responsibilities in the quotation.

Prepare and seed the ground as specified, lay the blanket in contact with the soil, and secure overlaps and anchors using the approved detail. Fixing density depends on slope and exposure; a single spacing is not suitable for every site.
Inspect after rainfall and repair lifted areas or washouts. Biodegradation and the required protection period vary with climate and soil conditions.

Engineers and contractors should specify blanket properties, overlaps, anchor details, ground preparation and maintenance. DIY buyers can send the area, slope and photographs for help selecting the product and estimating quantities.
